Daughters of the wind

This story is inspired by the majestic Arabian horse. Horses are sentient, intelligent creatures and deserve all the praise they can get!

Her face sculpted by the hands of God,

her skin a silken sheet.

Her flowing tail a golden arc,

like a waterfall to her feet.

Her mane a breaking wave of white,

her eyes as deep as a shadow’s dance.

Her gait free as a swallow’s nimble flight,

her legs in a cat’s poised stance.

Her ears a pricked crown upon her head,

her hooves platters of silver and gold.

Her heart a wild lion’s roar,

Her soul as mysterious as stories untold.
